Primary Responsibilities

• Subcontractor and Procurement Management:
• Oversee workflow and issue Subcontract/Design Work Orders in line with agreed rates or quotes.
• Create purchase orders and manage subcontractor invoices, ensuring proper documentation for variations.
• Maintain a variation register and assist in resolving contractual disputes and defects.
• Administer contractual documentation and manage changes/change events effectively.
• Identify, liaise and negotiate with potential subcontractors, supporting commercial matters and the Schedule of Rates.
• Review and prepare onboarding documentation, complete internal assessments, and ensure contract compliance.
• Provide support to subcontractors during onboarding and maintain the Subcontractor Register.
• Commercial Reporting and Cost Control:
• Prepare comprehensive cost and commercial reports, including reconciliations, cash flows, and S-curves.
• Maintain full cost control, from budget establishment to ongoing monitoring.
• Could You Be Our Next Contract Administrator? We’re looking for someone who has:
• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• In-depth knowledge of subcontract tendering, standards, applicable legislation, procedures, cost reporting, procurement, construction programs, and plans.
