Deliverables
State of the Panth Reports : Comprehensive copyediting and proofreading of longform reports, including feedback on structure, clarity, and flow. Estimated 15–20 hours per report, 2 reports.
The Sikh History Project : Editing 2 longform articles for grammar, readability, and consistency; light editing of 12 shortform factsheets for flow. Estimated 3 hours per article, 30 minutes per factsheet.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience editing longform nonfiction, academic, or research-oriented content
- Strong command of grammar, style, and clarity
- Ability to preserve an author's voice while improving readability
- Familiarity with Sikh history, tradition, or related fields
- Familiarity with SikhRI content and voice
Engagement
This is a project-based contract role. The editor will be engaged on a per-deliverable basis with set payments made upon delivery.
