- Key Responsibilities:* Conduct thorough patient evaluations and diagnostic assessments to identify spinal conditions.
- Perform a variety of complex spinal surgeries such as spinal fusion, disc replacement, and decompression surgeries.
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
- Provide detailed patient education on surgical procedures, risks, and expected outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physiotherapists, pain specialists, and radiologists.
- Oversee post-operative care, monitoring recovery and managing complications.
- Maintain meticulous medical records in compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
- Stay updated on advancements in spine surgery and integrate best practices into clinical care.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards throughout all clinical activities.
Requirements
- Medical degree with board certification in Orthopedic Surgery or Neurosurgery.
- Fellowship training or specialization in Spine Surgery is highly preferred.
- Proven experience performing complex spinal surgeries in a private healthcare setting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of advanced spinal surgical techniques and perioperative care.
- Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to interpret imaging studies effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary private sector team.
