Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to accurately diagnose spinal disorders through medical history reviews and physical examinations
- Utilize advanced imaging technologies, such as MRIs and CT scans, to inform treatment decisions
- Perform a comprehensive range of surgical procedures aimed at treating various spinal conditions, including but not limited to fusions, laminectomies, and minimally invasive techniques
- Provide exceptional post operative care, monitoring recovery and addressing any complications efficiently
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop personalized treatment plans that cater to each patient's unique needs
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation according to healthcare regulations and policies
- Engage in continuous education and training to remain current with the latest advancements in spine surgery methods and technologies
Requirements
- Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) with a current medical license to practice
- Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery or Neurosurgery, with a specialization in spine surgery
- Extensive experience in diagnosing and treating spine related conditions through surgical intervention
- Proficient in performing complex spinal surgeries and familiar with the newest surgical technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to manage complex medical cases effectively
- Dedication to ethical practices and the delivery of high quality patient care
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning in the field of spine surgery
- Able to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced clinical environment while managing a diverse patient caseload
