We are seeking a highly qualified Consultant/Specialist Gastrointestinal Surgeon to join our expert medical team.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in diagnosing and surgically treating complex gastrointestinal conditions, committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
- Perform detailed clinical assessments and diagnostic procedures for patients with gastrointestinal disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including advanced surgical interventions
- Carry out complex gastrointestinal surgeries, ensuring adherence to best practices and patient safety standards
- Manage perioperative care from preoperative evaluation through postoperative recovery
- Collaborate actively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient management
- Provide patient education regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and postoperative care
- Engage in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives to foster medical advancements
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical documentation compliant with regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited medical school
- Completed residency in General Surgery and fellowship training specializing in Gastrointestinal Surgery
- Valid medical licensure to practice as a surgeon in the relevant jurisdiction
- Minimum of 5 years of specialized experience in gastrointestinal surgical practice
- Proficiency in advanced surgical techniques, including minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgery
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Dedication to continuous professional development and staying current with advancements in gastrointestinal surgery
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are advantageous
