- Develop and execute personalized treatment plans including surgical interventions
- Perform complex gastrointestinal surgeries with a high standard of care, emphasizing minimally invasive techniques where appropriate
- Manage patient care before, during, and after surgery, ensuring prompt and effective recovery
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures, risks, benefits, and recovery processes
- Engage in research and continuous professional development to stay current with advancements in gastrointestinal surgery
- Maintain precise documentation and comply with all healthcare regulations and institutional policies
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD) from a recognized institution and completion of General Surgery residency
- Fellowship or specialized training in Gastrointestinal Surgery
- Valid medical license to practice as a Consultant/Specialist Surgeon
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in gastrointestinal surgical practice
- Proficiency in advanced and minimally invasive gastrointestinal surgical techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional education and research
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous
