Position Overview
A UAE healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Consultant Cardiologist with a recognized Western qualification.
The role provides comprehensive cardiovascular care and manages a broad range of cardiac conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist and consultant-level cardiology services.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
- Perform and interpret ECG, echocardiography, stress testing, and other cardiac investigations.
- Manage coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, and other cardiovascular conditions.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide inpatient, outpatient, and emergency cardiac care.
- Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, electrophysiologists, radiologists, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain clinical documentation and comply with UAE regulations and hospital policies.
- Participate in governance, teaching, research, and quality improvement.
Requirements
- MBBS, MD, or an equivalent medical degree is required.
- A recognized Western Board or Fellowship qualification in Cardiology is required.
- Relevant consultant-level clinical experience is required.
- Current specialist registration and good professional standing are required.
- Tertiary-care or teaching hospital experience is preferred.
- Eligibility for DOH or DHA medical licensing is required, depending on location.
- Strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills are required.
