Position Overview

A leading healthcare organization in the UAE is seeking an experienced Consultant Cardiac Electrophysiologist with UK CCT.

The role provides specialist care for complex cardiac rhythm disorders and advanced electrophysiology procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide consultant-level care for patients with complex cardiac arrhythmias.
  • Perform and interpret comprehensive electrophysiological studies.
  • Perform catheter ablation for SVT, atrial flutter, atrial fibrillation, and ventricular arrhythmias as appropriate to expertise.
  • Manage pacemakers, ICDs, and other cardiac rhythm-management devices.
  • Conduct pre- and post-procedure assessments and provide long-term follow-up.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, intensivists, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Participate in complex case discussions and multidisciplinary meetings.
  • Maintain clinical documentation and comply with UAE healthcare regulations and hospital policies.
  • Participate in clinical governance, teaching, research, and quality-improvement activities.

Requirements

  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
  • UK CCT in Cardiology with recognized advanced training or subspecialty expertise in Cardiac Electrophysiology.
  • Specialist registration with the relevant UK medical authority.
  • Relevant post-CCT experience in cardiac electrophysiology.
  • Demonstrable experience in complex ablation and cardiac rhythm-management procedures.
  • Experience in a tertiary-care or academic hospital is preferred.
  • Eligible for DOH/DHA medical licensing, depending on location.
  • Strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills.
