Responsibilities
- Interpret PET CT and hybrid imaging studies (e.g., SPECT/CT, diagnostic CT) for oncology, neurology, and cardiology cases
- Collaborate with oncologists, neurologists, and surgeons to support diagnosis, staging, and treatment planning
- Supervise and guide nuclear medicine technologists and junior radiologists
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and SCFHS standards
- Participate in tumor boards, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives
- Contribute to research, teaching, and continuous medical education within the department
- Maintain accurate and timely reporting using PACS and RIS systems
Requirements
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with completed residency in Radiology
- Fellowship or subspecialty training in PET CT / Nuclear Medicine Imaging
- Board certified (e.g., American Board, UK CCT, Canadian FRCP, or equivalent)
- Minimum 3–5 years of post fellowship experience in PET CT interpretation
- Eligible for Consultant classification by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
- Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage

Role Overview
- A prestigious tertiary care hospital in Saudi Arabia is seeking a highly experienced Consultant Radiologist with expertise in PET CT to join its advanced imaging department.
- The role involves interpreting complex PET CT scans, supporting oncological and neurological diagnostics, and contributing to multidisciplinary care and academic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret PET CT and hybrid imaging studies (e.g., SPECT/CT, diagnostic CT) for oncology, neurology, and cardiology cases
