Role summary
Oversee laboratory operations and ensure the laboratory develops and uses a quality-system approach to testing.
The role supports accurate, reliable, and timely diagnostic laboratory services.
Key accountabilities
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of test results for samples fit for examination.
- Ensure required reports are delivered within defined turnaround times.
- Support internal and external clients with scientific needs.
- Conduct quality-system activities and participate in quality assurance assessments.
- Ensure physical, chemical, and biological safety measures are followed.
- Interpret results and provide diagnostic information to physicians and medical professionals.
- Connect with key opinion leaders and engage in clinical research.
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at scientific conferences.
- Resolve customer complaints and queries according to defined service-level agreements and record interactions in CRM.
- Monitor instrument calibration, quality controls, daily maintenance, and coordination with engineers when needed.
What we are looking for
- MBBS with MD Pathology or DNB Pathology.
- One to three years of experience is listed in the job summary.
- Prior relevant work experience is preferred.
