Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage ophthalmic and periocular disorders requiring reconstructive and oculoplastic intervention
- Perform reconstructive ophthalmic surgeries including eyelid reconstruction, lacrimal surgeries, orbital procedures, trauma reconstruction, and functional eyelid surgeries
- Evaluate and manage patients with orbital diseases, eyelid malpositions, tumors, facial trauma, and tear drainage disorders
- Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient ophthalmology consultations
- Collaborate with ENT, maxillofacial, plastic surgery, oncology, and multidisciplinary teams for complex reconstructive cases
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with DOH regulations and hospital policies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research, audits, and continuous medical education programs
- Provide patient and family counseling regarding treatment plans, surgical procedures, and postoperative care
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by DOH Abu Dhabi
- Board Certification / Fellowship in Ophthalmology with subspecialty training in Oculoplastic/Reconstructive Ophthalmology
- Valid DOH Consultant License or Eligibility Letter in Ophthalmology
- Minimum 5–7 years of post specialist experience in reconstructive ophthalmology and oculoplastic surgery
- Expertise in advanced reconstructive and orbital surgical procedures
- Strong communication and patient management skills

Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist specializing in Reconstructive Ophthalmology to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi.
- The successful candidate will diagnose and manage complex ophthalmic and oculoplastic conditions, perform reconstructive surgical procedures, and deliver high quality patient centered eye care aligned with international clinical standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
