Position Overview
Consultant Neurosurgeon sought for a multidisciplinary healthcare team in Dubai.
Responsible for diagnosing, treating, and surgically managing disorders of the brain, spine, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and cerebrovascular system.
Expected to perform complex neurosurgical procedures and deliver patient care aligned with international clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage brain tumors, spinal disorders, traumatic brain injuries, cerebrovascular diseases, hydrocephalus, epilepsy, and peripheral nerve disorders.
- Perform neurological assessments and interpret MRI, CT, angiography, neurophysiological, laboratory, and other diagnostic studies.
- Perform complex cranial, spinal, skull base, peripheral nerve, and cerebrovascular procedures.
- Manage emergency neurosurgical cases and develop individualized surgical and non-surgical treatment plans.
- Provide pre-operative consultation, surgical planning, informed consent, and post-operative care.
- Work with multidisciplinary clinical teams and supervise intensive care patients after major procedures.
- Educate patients and families, maintain DHA-compliant records, and support audits, research, quality improvement, and medical education.
- Mentor junior physicians, residents, and allied healthcare professionals where applicable.
