About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished Consultant Cardiovascular Surgeon to join a multidisciplinary healthcare team in Riyadh. The role involves diagnosing and surgically managing cardiovascular conditions, performing complex procedures like CABG and valve surgery, and collaborating with specialists.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose, evaluate, and surgically treat patients with cardiovascular diseases and disorders
- Perform a broad range of cardiac and vascular surgical procedures, including CABG, heart valve repair and replacement, aortic surgery, and other complex cardiovascular interventions
- Assess patients through comprehensive clinical evaluation, diagnostic investigations, and imaging studies
- Develop individualized treatment and surgical management plans based on current clinical guidelines
- Provide comprehensive pre operative, intra operative, and post operative patient care
- Manage emergency cardiovascular surgical cases as required
- Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, intensivists, radiologists, perfusionists, and nursing teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and clinical decision making
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment options, surgical procedures, risks, benefits, and post operative care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, morbidity and mortality meetings, and clinical audits
- Mentor junior physicians and contribute to education, research, and continuous professional development
Requirements
- Medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent) from a recognized institution
- Completion of a recognized residency in Cardiothoracic Surgery or Cardiovascular Surgery
- Fellowship or advanced subspecialty training in Cardiovascular Surgery
- Board Certification or equivalent specialist qualification in Cardiovascular Surgery
- Minimum of 5 years of post fellowship experience as a Consultant Cardiovascular Surgeon
- Extensive experience performing adult cardiac surgical procedures, including CABG, valve surgery, and aortic surgery
- Experience managing complex cardiovascular surgical cases in a tertiary care or academic hospital is preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, surgical expertise, and decision making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
- Commitment to evidence based practice, patient safety, and continuous professional development
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems

Job Overview
- We are seeking an accomplished and highly skilled Consultant Cardiovascular Surgeon to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Qualifications
