Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular diseases
- Conduct outpatient consultations and provide inpatient cardiac care
- Perform comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Interpret ECGs, Echocardiograms, Holter monitoring, Stress Tests, CT Coronary Angiography, and other cardiac investigations
- Manage patients with hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathies, and congenital heart conditions
- Perform and supervise cardiac procedures as per clinical privileges
- Respond to cardiac emergencies and participate in on call duties
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
- Supervise and mentor junior physicians and allied healthcare professionals
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution
- MD/DNB in Internal Medicine or equivalent
- DM/DNB/Fellowship/CCT/Board Certification in Cardiology
- Valid Oman MOH License or eligibility for licensure
- Minimum 6 10 years of post specialty experience, including experience as a Consultant Cardiologist
- Additional fellowship in Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Heart Failure, or Cardiac Imaging is an advantage

Job Overview
- We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Cardiologist to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care to adult patients.
Key Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and develop individualized treatment plans

- Provide consultations for patients referred by other specialties
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and treatment options
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, CME activities, and departmental meetings
Qualifications
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution
- MD/DNB in Internal Medicine or equivalent
- DM/DNB/Fellowship/CCT/Board Certification in Cardiology
- Valid Oman MOH License or eligibility for licensure
- Minimum 6 10 years of post specialty experience, including experience as a Consultant Cardiologist
- Additional fellowship in Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Heart Failure, or Cardiac Imaging is an advantage
