What You’ll be Doing
Support the General Manager in coordinating and directing sub-contractors to ensure clear communication, timely decision-making, and consistent quality control of workmanship.
Complete all required checklists to a satisfactory standard and submit them to the General Manager before the home can advance to the next construction stage.
Mark out houses for Sub-Contractors (electrical, cabinets, plumbing etc).
Enforce trade cleanliness and oversee site organization, including material management and returns, to ensure homes are clean, safe, and ready for subsequent trades.
Identify, address, and/or report unsafe working conditions to the General Manager to maintain a safe job site.
Support the training and development of less experienced employees by mentoring them in construction techniques, procedures, and health and safety practices.
Participate in required health and safety drills, Fusion Construction training programs, and mandatory safety courses to maintain current certifications, ensure regulatory compliance, and support ongoing skill development in alignment with company standards.
Support with administrative duties, including booking inspections, approving and coding invoices, managing work‑to‑complete items, and assisting with material management.
What You Bring to the Table
Minimum 5 years of hands‑on residential construction experience (e.g. residential carpentry, framing).
High School Diploma, post-secondary education (e.g. Carpentry, Construction Techniques, etc) preferred.
Strong technical skills with the ability to perform a wide range of hands‑on construction tasks.
Foundational knowledge of the Ontario Building Code.
Demonstrates strong problem-solving, organization, and time management skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Delivers high-quality results through clear and effective communication.
Health & Safety certifications (Worker Awareness, WHMIS, Working at Heights, First Aid) are considered an asset.

Competitive Compensation: The Hourly Range for this position is $30 - $38 CAD per hour. The final agreed upon hourly wage may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. We are always looking for top talent.
