About the Role
KAD Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Manager for roads and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing construction management plans, cost control, procurement, and subcontractor coordination.

Responsibilities
- Oversee establishment of the Construction Management Plan, Site Specific Health and Safety Plan, QA/QC Plan, and other documents
- Devise and execute action plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to scope of work
- Act as contractor’s representative with client, subcontractors, and suppliers during project execution
- Prepare purchase requisitions and procure items necessary for field office operation
- Establish procedures for administration of all field vehicles and equipment; maintain status logs and reports
- Coordinate drafting of requisitions, subcontract scopes of work, amendments, and task orders
- Monitor contractor's expenses versus budget; prepare draft amendments if required
- Manage current and timely change orders
- Supervise preparation of monthly construction progress report and contract status report
- Prepare WBS, budgets, and forecasts
- Supervise development of monthly invoices; review and approve subcontractor invoices
- Prepare quarterly construction management reports and coordinate meetings
Requirements
- 10 years total experience in Roads and Infrastructure Projects
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Project Management skills

Responsibilities

- Acts as the contractor’s representative with the client, subcontractors and suppliers during the project execution.
