Role Overview
Support site supervisors, engineers, foremen, and skilled workers on road and infrastructure construction activities.
Assist with general site activities, material handling, housekeeping, basic construction work, and safe work-area maintenance.
Construction Duties
- Assist workers and supervisors with daily construction activities.
- Load, unload, carry, and arrange materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assist with excavation, backfilling, grading, compaction, kerbstone, and interlock work.
- Support asphalt, road-marking, drainage, pipe-laying, manhole, and utility activities.
- Prepare and clean work areas before and after construction.
- Assist skilled workers, surveyors, and road crews with site preparation.
- Maintain storage areas and keep the site clean and safe.
- Assist with barricades, cones, warning signs, and traffic management.
- Report damaged tools, unsafe conditions, shortages, and site issues.
- Follow HSE, PPE, and site safety procedures.
Requirements
- Basic education is preferred.
- Previous construction or site experience is an advantage.
- Road or infrastructure construction experience is preferred.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in hot weather.
