About the Role

Responsibilities
- Protect contractor company from contractual risk by implementing best practice contracting methodology as per FIDIC
- Monitor contracts and solve contract related problems with other parties and cooperate with the client as per FIDIC
- Monitor progress of work in both subsections as per FIDIC
- Pay special attention to work executed on site by Senior Subcontracts manager as per FIDIC
- Pay special attention to claims and variations towards company and contractor
- Pay special attention to audits by the company as well as internal audit results
- Be present and report in monthly meetings with companies on progress and risk areas
- Utilize effective communication skills to ensure timely and clear information distribution
- Analyze and negotiate claims
- Maintain records for correspondence and documentation relative to contracts
- Deal with clients, PMC, Consultant, and Subcontractors, and create professional correspondence
- Evaluate and execute a wide variety of different contracts
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Civil or QS
- 12+ Years of relevant work experience in the UAE
- Preferred 3 years of experience with Musanada
- Several years of experience with FIDIC
- Excellent in writing variation letters and negotiating with clients
- Strong organizational, project management skills, and communication skills
- Fluent in English writing and speaking
- Based in Abu Dhabi, UAE
