Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities on site.
- Assign work and ensure tasks are completed as planned.
- Assist the Foreman or Site Supervisor with manpower and productivity.
- Follow approved drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.
- Conduct toolbox talks and enforce PPE and site safety rules.
- Monitor workmanship quality and report issues.
- Coordinate with engineers, foremen, and other trades.
- Monitor material usage and request additional materials.
- Maintain housekeeping and a safe working area.
- Prepare daily manpower and progress updates.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Civil Chargehand or similar role in high-rise residential construction.
- Good knowledge of civil construction methods and site activities.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
- Ability to lead and coordinate workers effectively.
- Good knowledge of site safety practices and PPE requirements.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Preferred project experience
- Experience on Dubai Municipality and/or Dubai Development Authority authority-approved projects is preferred.
Compensation and benefits
- Pay is AED 2,000 to AED 3,000 per month.
- Salary plus overtime is offered.
- Shared accommodation is provided.
- Transportation to and from accommodation is provided.
Workplace
- Work is performed in person on construction sites in Dubai.
