- Maintain contact with users to analyze system performance and efficiency.
- Write and maintain program and system operations documentation.
- Consult with information systems staff regarding system design and problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology
- One to three years of experience in software development
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, C++
- Experience with HTML, PHP, JavaScript
- Experience using Visual Studio
- Working knowledge of SQL and Microsoft SQL Server
- Understanding of object oriented software engineering
- Ability to write clean, well documented code
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a team

Responsibilities
- Design and modify existing programs and data structures; provide for proper maintenance of assigned programs.
- Design, program, code and analyze new computer programs and data structures in accordance with specifications and user needs.
- Assist other programmers with complex programming projects and needs; serve as Project Leader as assigned.
- Maintain file structures used in programs; maintain flow charts or narrative description of program flow, purpose and operation.
- Examine output data from program operations to verify and assure accuracy and completeness of data; test and de bug programs to assure reliability.
- Maintain contact with users to analyze system performance and efficiency; provide training support and consult with users.
- Maintain current knowledge of developments, issues and advancements in data processing equipment and software.
- Write and maintain program and system operations documentation for users and operators.
- Consult with information systems staff regarding system design, problems and developments.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology.
- One to three years of experience in software development.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, C++.
- Experience with HTML, PHP, JavaScript.
- Experience using Visual Studio.
- Certification in Microsoft or Oracle is advantageous.
- Up to date on the latest software innovations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot tiny errors or inconsistencies in code.
- A desire to innovate and create cutting edge programs.
- Understanding of object oriented software engineering.
- Track record of successful application development.
- Ability to write clean, well documented code.
