The Opportunity
We are seeking experienced and motivated Mine Trainers to join the Mount Marion Mining Team. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by developing the capability, confidence and safety awareness of our operational workforce in a fast-paced mining environment.
Working closely with supervisors, operators and site leadership, you will deliver high-quality training, assess competency, support onboarding and ensure our people are equipped to perform their roles safely and effectively. You will also help identify training needs, maintain accurate training records and contribute to continuous improvement across site systems and practices.
This role is well suited to a hands-on mining professional with strong operational experience, a passion for developing others and the ability to build positive relationships across diverse teams. Key Responsibilities
- Effectively facilitate training Nationally Recognised Training, VOC, Site based training presentations etc. to meet site needs in accordance with the MRL Training Systems
- Promote and support the MRL Training Standards and Processes
- Promote, mentor and coach Authorised Assessors for effective workplace understanding and use of MRL Training documents, tools, packages and presentations
- Promote, review, implement and support the MRL Training System that provides foundation and direction for MRL employee training
- Proactively assist sites in achieving their compliance training requirements
- Maintain up to date knowledge of all applicable legislation, and standards
- Work with relevant stakeholders to identify training and assessment gaps
- Conduct thorough reviews of plant and equipment programs, delivering detailed feedback to ensure compliance with current operational standards and best practices
- Develop training packages and training plans to meet business needs
- Ensure training delivery adheres to professional policies, procedures and regulatory bodies, working towards nationally consistent best practice
