Role overview
YouTrip is a multi-currency payment platform operating across the Asia Pacific region.
The company is seeking a Compliance Manager for its regional team.
Responsibilities
- Act as the local Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
- Coordinate AML, CTF, sanctions compliance, and suspicious transaction reporting for local operations.
- Develop, communicate, and implement a systematic approach to managing risks.
- Advise senior stakeholders on risks from new initiatives and regulatory changes.
- Report to the Group Head of Compliance and partner with the Group C-suite on global initiatives.
- Develop and manage local compliance frameworks and policies.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, codes of conduct, and best practices.
Requirements
- Five to eight years of compliance experience in the financial services industry.
- CAMS or another professional qualification is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with calibrating transaction monitoring thresholds and parameters is an added advantage.
- Fintech or payment firm experience is highly advantageous.
- Experience setting up a compliance team in a financial institution is highly advantageous.
- Strong stakeholder and regulator relationship-building ability.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to changing regulatory landscapes.
