Key responsibilities
- Ensuring all health and safety incidents and accidents are reported through the appropriate methods
- Encouraging a safe working environment throughout the warehouse
- Monitoring performance and productivity rates on an hourly basis for all operatives
- Role model for operational activities in the warehouse
- Remain customer focused and understand the needs of the customer
- Check and complete all paperwork relating to QHSE
- Adhere to BRC standards on site
- Operate The WMS (JDA) to an intermediate standard
- Overseeing rework for a particular customer ensuring the product meets the requirement
- High attention to detail to ensure all pallets are fully compliant as per the quality man
- Handling and managing all non-compliant and clandestine loads for key customers
Key Skills
- 2 plus years in a warehouse role with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literate with experience in warehouse Management Systems (preferably JDA)
- Demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Role model for safe work behaviours
- Coach and mentor others to succeed
- Lead by example
- Able to handle long and short term multiple tasks, whilst working in a high stress fast paced environment
