Norse Highways are currently seeking a Compliance Administration Assistant to join their administration team. In this role you will provide administrative and coordination support to ensure the effective delivery of health, safety, and compliance activities across the Highways service. The role will support the maintenance of compliance records, coordinate statutory inspections and health-related programmes, and assist managers in meeting legal and organisational requirements.
Role Responsibilities
- * Provide administrative support for health surveillance programmes, including arranging appointments, maintaining records, monitoring due dates, and supporting compliance with health surveillance requirements.
- * Maintain accurate, confidential, and auditable compliance records in line with data protection requirements.
- * Support communication between employees, managers, Occupational Health providers, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance activities are completed on time.
- * Conduct the administration of LOLER inspections, including updating records, maintaining asset registers, and coordinating with service providers and operational teams.
- * Support the management of face fit testing programmes and maintain records relating to respiratory protective equipment (RPE) assessments and checks.
- * Monitor compliance activities, identify overdue actions, and escalate issues to the Compliance Manager where appropriate.
- * Assist with the preparation of compliance reports and documentation for audits, inspections, and management reviews.
- * Provide general administrative and coordination support for health, safety, and compliance activities as directed by the Compliance Manager.
- * Contribute to the continuous improvement of compliance processes, systems, and record-keeping practices.

* Competent in Microsoft Office applications
* Ability to maintain accurate records and produce basic reports.
