Reporting to the Program Supervisor, we have one (1) Temporary Full-time Community Support Worker position available where the successful incumbent will be providing person-centered support to four unique individuals with developmental disabilities, and physical, medical and/or mental health challenges. Lifts, transfers and personal care are a requirement of this position. The successful candidate needs to ensure the individuals have the opportunity for overall personal growth, community inclusion, recreation, potential employment, and assist in maintaining/expanding personal networks with a focus on health. The successful incumbents will work collaboratively with individuals, families, colleagues, and community partners to promote independence, dignity, choice, and inclusion.

Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to engage respectfully and effectively with supported individuals, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
This role also requires experience supporting wheelchair users, safely completing lifts and transfers, and providing full personal care.
This position is temporary with an anticipated end date of December 31, 2026. Please note that this end date is tentative and may be amended based on operational and organizational needs.
