Job Overview
The Community Nursing Administration Support Assistant will work with team members to support Children's Specialist Nurses and clinicians.
The role provides effective and efficient administrative support to a community nursing service.
Main Duties
- Support the children's nursing team's day-to-day administrative activities.
- Arrange outpatient appointments and process outcomes.
- Raise requisition orders for patient consumables.
- Handle queries from patients, families, and professionals in the acute service.
- Type outpatient clinics and provide timely, specific data reports.
- Develop confidence and competence with the IT systems used by the service.
- Work independently and as part of the team while managing an office effectively.
Qualifications
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above, or equivalent.
- RSA/OCR Level 2 or equivalent experience.
- NVQ Customer Service Level 2 is desirable.
Experience
- Experience working in a busy office environment is essential.
- Knowledge of a range of administrative processes is essential.
