- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and execute a comprehensive communications plan for Amazon MEATR Operations
- Execute internal communications plans for new programs, policies, organizational changes, and operational updates
- Manage communication channels and monitor channel performance through data and metrics
- Proactively identify emerging topics, trends, and issues, developing timely communication plans in response
- Partner with stakeholders at operation sites to facilitate execution of internal communications during issues, crises, and critical business moments
- Collaborate with translation agencies to ensure all communication materials are accurately and appropriately localized
- Actively integrate Amazon's core business values, Leadership Principles, and strategic initiatives into everyday communications
- Continuously identify opportunities to Invent and Simplify, creating scalable mechanisms and consistent communication experiences
Requirements
- Experience in professional communications or public relations
- Experience managing external agencies
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
- Proficiency in measuring communication effectiveness through data and analytics
- Proficiency in content management systems, design tools, and video production oversight
- Speak, write, and read fluently in Arabic (preferred)
- Speak, write, and read fluently in Turkish (preferred)

- Amazon Middle East, Türkiye and Africa (MEATR) is seeking a creative, self motivated, and analytical Internal Communications Specialist to join our operations team.
- This role is at the heart of how we connect with and engage our Operations workforce across the MEATR region.
- The successful candidate will develop and implement compelling communication and engagement campaigns that bring to life the stories of Amazon MEATR Operations.
- You will play a critical role in shaping how our associates and employees experience Amazon as an employer of choice.

Basic Qualifications
- Experience in professional communications or public relations
- Experience managing external agencies
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications
- Speak, write, and read fluently in Arabic
- Speak, write, and read fluently in Turkish
- Experience in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non technical audiences, including senior leadership
- Experience working in e commerce / retail / supply chain / financial services business
- Experience in workplace violence, emergency response, crisis management, and business continuity practices
