Communications Engineer

Relevant tertiary qualification in Telecommunications, Network Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent industry experience

Experience in communications, telecommunications or network engineering, ideally within mining or other operational environments

Strong knowledge of IP networking, including routing, switching and network design principles

Hands-on experience with wireless communications technologies, including digital radio, LTE and point-to-point wireless systems

Experience supporting and troubleshooting communications and network infrastructure in high-availability environments

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and operational stakeholders

Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP or equivalent will be highly regarded

Exposure to Operational Technology (OT), industrial networking or radio communications environments will be advantageous
