Role Overview
Load and unload products at a soybean crushing plant operating continuously on a 12-hour shift schedule.
Load trucks and railcars with finished products or unload beans in receiving, depending on assignment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Load finished products onto trucks and railcars and unload grain trucks and railcars to meet production schedules.
- Inspect material handling equipment and perform routine adjustments and minor maintenance.
- Operate the meal loading and receiving area through HMI and make required field changes.
- Report equipment issues and comply with safety rules and personal protective equipment requirements.
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain housekeeping and remove hazards in assigned buildings, facility grounds, and work areas.
- Perform minor maintenance, complete supervisor assignments, and participate in continuous improvement and training.
- Attain Level 1 rail training and assist with basic railyard functions as directed.
Education and Experience
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Four years of experience in an industrial environment is required.
