Company Description
The client is a global engineering, drilling, and construction company operating mainly in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
The company provides integrated services across engineering, design, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, and operations support.
Role Overview
Lead instrumentation commissioning activities on an offshore facility for an energy project.
Coordinate commissioning work with multidisciplinary teams and report to the Commissioning Manager.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate offshore instrumentation commissioning activities.
- Plan and monitor commissioning tasks against the project schedule and procedures.
- Supervise loop checks, functional tests, calibration, and instrumentation and control system start-up.
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Process commissioning teams for integration and handover.
- Review commissioning procedures, punch lists, and MC/RFC completion certificates.
- Maintain HSE and client technical standards during commissioning.
- Report progress, technical issues, and punch-list status to the Commissioning Manager.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during commissioning and start-up.
