Responsibilities
- Ensure all pre commissioning and commissioning activities are carried out according to procedures and schedule
- Review pre commissioning and commissioning procedures for field instrumentation, fire and gas units, on line analysers, telecommunication system
- Prepare detailed program for all Instrumentation items and develop day by day planning
- Coordinate Field instrument activities with Commissioning Control Systems Superintendent
- Assign tasks to supervisors/assistants and monitor progress
- Liaise with Client Project Team, Project Management, Subcontractors, Vendors Representatives
- Support Vendors specialists and coordinate their actions with Commissioning supervisors
- Ensure availability of commissioning spares and consumables
Requirements
- University Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 18 years work experience
- Significant experience in a similar position on EPC Oil & Gas projects/Refinery
- Strong leadership and coordination skills
- Good judgment and decision making under pressure
- Effective communication and reporting skills
- Proficient in English (written and spoken)

Job Summary/Role Description
- Supports the Commissioning Manager in planning, execution, documentation preparation and hand over to the Client
- Ensures implementation of procedures at site
- Operates in compliance with quality, health/environmental/safety regulations
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure all pre commissioning and commissioning activities are carried out according to procedures and schedule
- Ensure quality standards and safety procedures are followed
- Review pre commissioning and commissioning procedures for field instrumentation, fire and gas units, on line analysers, telecommunication system
- Develop or review inspection forms for instrument activities
- Prepare detailed program for all Instrumentation items and develop day by day planning
- Coordinate Field instrument activities with Commissioning Control Systems Superintendent
- Monitor and ensure activities are carried out as per schedule
- Assign tasks to supervisors/assistants
- Support the CIS and cooperate with other Commissioning discipline Superintendents
- Report and update on progress of activities
- Liaise with Client Project Team, Project Management, Subcontractors, Vendors Representatives
- Propose mobilization of Vendors specialists and follow up activities
Person Specification
- University Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 18 years work experience
- Significant experience in a similar position on EPC Oil & Gas projects/Refinery
- Strong leadership and coordination skills
