About the Role

Responsibilities
- Prepare pastry items according to guest orders following recipe cards and presentation standards
- Complete mis en place and set up station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service
- Operate, maintain and properly clean kitchen equipment
- Date all food containers and rotate as per policies, ensuring proper temperatures
- Ensure highest standards and consistent quality in daily preparation
- Be familiar with new products, recipes & preparation techniques
- Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to immediate supervisor
Requirements
- Basic & local necessary food hygiene certificates
- Minimum of 2 3 years in a basic culinary position
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques & personal grooming
- Good English communication skills
- Certificate in culinary (preferred)

Your day to day
- Prepare pastry items according to guest orders of consistent quality following recipe cards, production, portion, and presentation standards.
- Complete mis en place and set up station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service.
- Start food items prepared ahead of time, ensuring not to prepare beyond estimated needs.
- Operate, maintain and properly clean kitchen equipment including deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, and flat top grill.
- Date all food containers and rotate as per policies, ensuring perishables are kept at proper temperatures.
- Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in daily preparation.
- Be familiar with new products, recipes & preparation techniques.
- Be familiar with the use of all electrical and mechanical equipment in the kitchen and observe safety precautions.
- Promptly report any hazards, unsafe working conditions, or equipment requiring repair or maintenance to immediate supervisor.
What We need from you
- Basic & local necessary food hygiene certificates.
- Certificate in culinary (preferred).
- Minimum of 2 3 years in a basic culinary position, preferably in a similar operations style.
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques & personal grooming.
- Good English communication skills.
