Role Description
Prepare and cook different types of parathas and breads according to company quality, hygiene, and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare plain, stuffed, layered, and other varieties of parathas.
- Prepare dough, fillings, and required ingredients.
- Ensure correct portion size, taste, texture, and presentation.
- Maintain consistency during bulk production.
- Follow standard recipes and instructions from senior chefs.
- Maintain cleanliness of the workstation, equipment, and kitchen area.
- Follow HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and FIFO procedures.
- Minimize food wastage, handle ingredients properly, and support other kitchen activities when required.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a paratha maker or in a similar kitchen role.
- Good knowledge of dough preparation, stuffing, rolling, and cooking techniques.
- Experience in catering, restaurant, hotel, or central kitchen operations is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and basic communication skills.
