Role Overview
The employer is seeking a commis chef specializing in Russian cuisine to assist with authentic dishes while maintaining food quality, hygiene, and presentation standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing and cooking Russian dishes such as soups, pastries, meats, and traditional specialties.
- Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare and store ingredients properly.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Help with stock rotation and inventory control.
- Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a commis chef or kitchen assistant is required.
- Experience in Russian cuisine is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment is required.
- Applicants must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A team-player attitude and willingness to learn and grow in the culinary field are required.
- PIC food safety certification is preferred.
- Applicants must be flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays.
Compensation
- Pay starts from AED 3,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
