Position Summary

Schedule and Position Type

• The schedule is full time.
• The position type is non-management.

Food Preparation and Cooking

• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, washing, peeling, weighing, measuring, and mixing.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklists.
• Prepare cold foods, portion food correctly, and test food to confirm sufficient cooking.

Kitchen Operations

• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, fryers, and other kitchen equipment.
• Set up and break down workstations and check the temperature of appliances and food.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.

Safety and Service Standards

• Follow company, safety, and security policies and complete required safety training and certifications.
• Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
• Maintain clean professional appearance, protect company assets, preserve confidentiality, and meet quality expectations.

Teamwork and Physical Demands

• Communicate clearly and professionally, maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• The role requires extended standing, sitting, or walking and frequent bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, reaching, and handling objects up to 25 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
• No supervisory experience is required and no license or certification is specified as a qualification.
