Position Summary

Food Preparation and Cooking

• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, storing, washing, peeling, weighing, measuring, and mixing them.
• Prepare cold foods and cook food using ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
• Test food for doneness, monitor food quality, and serve appropriate portions in proper receptacles.
• Set up and break down the workstation.

Sanitation and Safety

• Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
• Check and maintain correct temperatures for appliances and food.
• Follow company, safety, and security policies and report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.

Physical and Workplace Expectations

• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or for an entire work shift.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.

Professional Conduct

Requirements

• Complete required safety training and certifications.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, pull, stoop, and work for an entire shift.
