Prepare breads, pastries, doughs, fillings, and other baked goods in a luxury hotel kitchen.
Work according to recipes, production sheets, food preparation checklists, and quality and presentation standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, proof, bake, and decorate breads and pastries as appropriate.
- Maintain food safety logs and follow food handling and personal hygiene procedures.
- Check food and equipment temperatures and report issues to management.
- Monitor food quality and portions throughout the shift.
- Support team operations and assist with coaching, mentoring, and employee development activities.
- Follow safety, security, confidentiality, and asset protection policies.
- Perform physical kitchen duties, including lifting up to 25 pounds and working on uneven or slippery surfaces.
Preferred qualifications
- A technical, trade, or vocational school degree is preferred.
- At least 2 years of related work experience is preferred.
- No supervisory experience is required.
