Position Summary

Core Responsibilities

• Regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters, and thaw frozen food in the refrigerator.
• Maintain food logs and monitor the quality and quantity of prepared food.
• Communicate assistance needs during busy periods and inform the Chef about excess food for daily specials.
• Notify Food and Beverage service staff about menu specials and out-of-stock menu items.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Follow company safety and security policies, report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training.
• Maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and address guest service needs.
• Use clear professional language, build positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Perform physically demanding tasks including prolonged standing, bending, reaching, and moving objects up to 25 pounds.
• Perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• A technical, trade, or vocational school degree is preferred.
• At least three years of related work experience is preferred.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No license or certification is specified.

Schedule and Position Type

• The schedule is full time.
• The position is non-management.
