Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation of pastries, desserts, plated sweets, and bakery items
- Follow standardized recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines
- Support senior pastry chefs in daily production and mise en place
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry section
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients (FIFO)
- Assist in basic pastry techniques such as mixing, baking, decorating, and finishing
- Uphold strict food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and report maintenance issues
- Assist in preparing ingredients for fine dining dessert service
Requirements
- 1 3 years of experience in a professional pastry or bakery kitchen
- Basic knowledge of pastry techniques, desserts, cakes, and bakery preparations
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and presentation standards
- Team oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Culinary diploma or pastry certification preferred

Job Summary
- Tresind Studio is seeking a passionate and dedicated Commi I Chef – Pastry to join our award winning culinary team.

- This role supports senior pastry chefs in daily operations while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of a wide range of pastries, desserts, plated sweets, and bakery items.
- Follow standardized recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines with consistency.
- Support senior pastry chefs in daily production and mise en place.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry section at all times.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients (FIFO method).
- Assist in basic pastry techniques such as mixing, baking, decorating, and finishing.
- Uphold strict food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Assist in preparing ingredients and components for fine dining dessert service.
