About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Commis 3 – Pastry to join our team. You will assist in preparing pastries, cakes, desserts, and breads, maintain cleanliness, and follow food safety standards.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of pastries, cakes, desserts, breads, and other baked products
- Follow standard recipes and presentation guidelines to ensure consistent quality
- Prepare ingredients and support daily pastry production
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen and workstations
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Properly store ingredients and finished products using FIFO procedures
- Assist with buffet, banquet, and à la carte dessert preparation
- Report equipment issues and stock shortages to the supervisor
- Support senior pastry chefs with daily kitchen operations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or culinary/pastry certification preferred
- Previous experience in a pastry kitchen is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques and food safety practices
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Positive attitude, teamwork, and willingness to learn

Job Overview
