Your Day to Day
- As a Commis I, you will assist in the kitchen operations to ensure that all food is served according to pre determined methods of cooking and plating instructions as per the hotel standards.
What We Need From You
- Previous experience as a Commis I or in a similar culinary role within a luxury hotel, resort, or high quality restaurant, preferably specializing in Arabic cuisine.
- Sound knowledge of traditional and contemporary Arabic cooking techniques, ingredients, and food presentation.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to maintain a clean and efficient workstation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced kitchen environment while maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene.
- Capable of multitasking, prioritizing responsibilities, and performing well under pressure.
- A team oriented attitude with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
