About the opportunity
The Commercial & Development Analyst supports commercial decision-making through management dashboards, analytical tools, executive-ready reporting, and financial and economic modelling.
The role combines commercial and technical analysis with a focus on dashboard development, reporting automation, process improvement, and communicating actionable insights.
The analyst manages large datasets and builds repeatable analysis and visualization tools for senior management.
What you’ll do
- Develop management reports, dashboards, and visual summaries using Excel, Power BI, and other reporting platforms.
- Automate analytical tools, data workflows, and quality checks using Python, Power Query, or similar tools.
- Analyze customer netbacks, transportation alternatives, market fundamentals, competitive conditions, and commercial options.
- Prepare financial, economic, commercial, and analytical reports with clear insights and recommendations.
- Build and maintain economic models, sensitivity tools, and scenario analyses.
- Draft and distribute contractual notices to customers as required.
- Support Husky Midstream’s long-range plan through assumptions, analysis, and planning inputs.
