Commercial Contracting Senior Manager

The opportunity

Your key responsibilities

• Lead the full contracting process from award to signature.
• Coordinate contract intake, stakeholder alignment, draft preparation, review cycles, and redline consolidation.
• Track approvals and execution readiness across the process.
• Work with Legal, Finance, Vendors/Partners, Compliance, and business owners to keep deals within SLA.
• Resolve open issues early to avoid delays to signature.
• Assess each deal by archetype and overall risk profile.
• Evaluate commercial, legal, and financial complexity.
• Route deals through the appropriate approval path using defined risk rules.
• Escalate deviations for senior review when thresholds are exceeded.
• Apply delegation-of-authority requirements, including CBO or CFO approvals, where needed.
• Maintain governance discipline while avoiding unnecessary bottlenecks.
• Review, negotiate, and manage non-standard contractual terms, including pricing deviations, payment terms, liability positions, and other commercial risk clauses.

What we’re looking for

• 5–8 years in a commercial, sales, or deal management role (Sales Manager / Senior Account Manager / Director-level sales background preferred).
• Demonstrated understanding of commercial contracting — contract structures, risk clauses, payment terms, pricing models, and legal/financial dependencies.
• Experience working in a cross-functional environment involving Legal, Finance, Procurement, and Compliance stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of deal governance frameworks, delegation-of-authority matrices, and approval workflows.
• Familiarity with enterprise deal cycles — ideally in cloud, technology, or managed services (TCV-based deal structures).
• Arabic language proficiency.
