Syllabase Learning is seeking a Commerce and Accountancy Teacher with basic accounting knowledge.
The role combines teaching school-level Commerce subjects with basic junior accounting responsibilities.
Teaching responsibilities
- Teach Accountancy, Economics, and Business Studies to school-level students.
- Support students following CBSE and IGCSE curricula.
- Teach related Commerce subjects, including Marketing, where required.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and teaching materials.
- Conduct assessments and monitor academic progress.
- Provide individual academic support and guidance.
- Maintain a positive, interactive, and student-focused learning environment.
Accounting responsibilities
- Handle basic bookkeeping and accounting tasks using Zoho Books.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
- Apply basic knowledge of UAE accounting practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Education, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Accountancy, Economics, and Business Studies.
- Teaching experience, particularly with CBSE and/or IGCSE students, is preferred.
- Practical knowledge of Zoho Books is preferred.
- Basic understanding of UAE accounting practices.
- Strong communication, presentation, and classroom-management skills.
- Teaching and accounting experience are highly preferred.
- Freshers with strong academic knowledge and a genuine interest in teaching may apply.
Employment and pay
- The role is full-time and permanent.
- Pay is AED 2,500 to AED 3,500 per month.
Workplace
- Work is in person.
