Manage customer collections, follow up on outstanding payments, and ensure timely recovery of receivables.
Maintain accurate records, coordinate with internal teams, and build professional customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding invoices and overdue payments.
- Contact customers through calls, emails, and other communication channels to ensure timely collections.
- Maintain records of collection activities, payment commitments, and outstanding balances.
- Reconcile customer accounts and identify payment discrepancies or unapplied payments.
- Coordinate with Sales, Finance, and Accounts teams regarding customer accounts and payment issues.
- Prepare reports on outstanding receivables, collections, and overdue accounts.
- Follow up on payment commitments and escalate long-outstanding or disputed accounts.
- Resolve customer queries related to invoices, payments, and account statements.
- Ensure collection activities comply with company policies and procedures.
- Support the Accounts Receivable team with other finance-related activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, credit control, or a similar role.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting or ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work independently and meet collection targets and deadlines.
- UAE experience and knowledge of local business practices are advantageous.
Pay
- AED 2,000–3,000 per month.
