Coalition & Partnerships Coordinator

• Minimum of 4-7 years of relevant experience in community organizing, grassroots engagement, membership organization coordination, advocacy or related fields, including supervision of staff or directing others' work.
• Event or conference coordination experience is a plus.
• Track record of managing large scale stakeholder networks, including managing onboarding processes, overseeing engagement, and developing member-informed programming.
• Familiarity with digital organizing and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Action Network, EveryAction, HubSpot, or Airtable) to track member engagement and manage communications data.
• Experience planning and facilitating large group meetings or working groups, including securing and interfacing with guest speakers.
• Comfort working in a fully remote or hybrid work environment.

• Passion for the cause of reviving community news.
• Collaborative team player with the ability to take initiative, manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Outstanding at building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to grasp the complexities of policy in this local news sector.
• Ability to navigate conflict with professionalism.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate policy and legislative detail into clear member-facing language.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working independently on a fully remote team.
• Willingness to travel as necessary for conferences or events.
