CNC Specialist/Programmer

This position requires the employee to stand, walk, bend, stoop.

This employee will be consistently using their hands and fingers while working.

There are times when this employee may need to lift heavy weights up to 50 pounds. .

This position also requires the employee to use a numerical controlled computer.

They will also use other kinds of calculating and measuring tools such as calipers.

The work setting of this manufacturing facility provides adequate lighting, noise levels will be moving between moderate to high noise levels.

Required Personal Protection Equipment includes Safety Glasses and Hearing Protection for any person in the production area.

Additional PPE may be required, i.e. gloves, face masks, face shields, dependent on the specific job being performed and company safety rules and regulations.

Because of the nature of this business, the temperature in the production facility can be very hot during the warmer times of the year .

· Strong understanding of how CNC machines work, preferably routing CNC machines

· An aptitude for mathematics and engineering concepts

High School Diploma or equivalent and some college course work or Technical/ Vocation school in Machining, CNC programming or similar.

Previous experience in manufacturing in the plastics, wood, or metal industry is preferred
