JOB SUMMARY
The CNC Operator is responsible for the day-to-day operation of CNC machines to fabricate scenic and structural components for ASTOUND’s event, exhibit, and environment projects. This hands-on role focuses on machine operation, material handling, and basic maintenance—executed with attention to quality, safety, and efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Work as part of the production team in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- Safely operate CNC routers or milling machines to cut various materials (wood, plastic, aluminum, etc.) based on provided programs.
- Set up machines for each job, including securing materials, loading tooling, and zeroing machine settings.
