NOV is seeking a CNC Machinist to program, set up, and operate CNC machines (DMG, Mazak, Integrex) for producing machined parts, including threaded connections for oil and gas components.

- Produce/Machine threaded Connections & parts as per the provided drawing and program
- Inspect and verify that each thread & part is generated as per the provided specification
- Follow all safety rules and policies provided by NOV
- Follow all guidelines provided by the Superintendent
- Maintain a neat and clean working environment
- Responsible for all company equipment's care, use, and protection
- Perform other duties as assigned by Superintendent
- Verify part and work order
Requirements
- Industrial / Manufacturing Diploma post High School or vocational training courses in mechanical engineering with 2 years of experience
- Work experience in Turner, Machinist, and Fitter trades
- Experience with DMG – Beta & Gamma, Mazak Machines (ST450, STN500/550M), ROMI Machine (M33, M43), Doosan (Puma700LM, DBC130L)
- Oil & Gas experience in the manufacturing field
- Familiar with operating a CNC machine on Rotatory Shoulder Connections (API, Grant Prideco, Tenaris, Vam, etc.) and HWDP (Drill pipe, Drill Collars, and Drill Stem Components)
- Good math skills
- Attention to detail

Job Summary
- The CNC Machinist produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine and is responsible for maintaining part quality, safety standards & company equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITY & AUTHORITY
- Follow all safety rules and policies provided by NOV.
- Produce/Machine threaded Connections & parts as per the provided drawing and program.
- Inspect and verify that each thread & part is generated as per the provided specification.
- Follow all the guidelines provided by the Superintendent.
- Maintain a neat and dean working environment.
- Responsible for all company equipment's care, use, and protection.
- Know, understand, and follow all company and department safety rules.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Superintendent.
- Perform job duties accurately and responsibly.
- Verify part and work order.
BEHAVIORAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Observe and listen to operating machines or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
- Study First article parts, drawings, and engineering information to determine methods and sequences of operations.
- Math Skills: Good math skills to understand complex instructions and schematics.
- Problem Solving Skills: Know why machines are not at peak performance and how to fix errors.
- Attention to Detail: Work with precision equipment; being off by millimeters could be critical.
- Mechanical and Technical Skills: Understand CAD/CAM technology.
- Stamina: Often work long hours doing repetitive movements.
- Conceptual Skills: Process Improvement, Verbal Communication, Functional and Technical Skills, Tooling, Coordination, Attention to Detail, and Judgment.
Qualifications (Education/No. of Years of Experience)
- Industrial / Manufacturing Diploma post High School or vocational training courses in mechanical engineering with 2 years of experience.
- Work experience in Turner, Machinist, and Fitter trades.
- Experience: DMG – Beta & Gamma, Mazak Machines (ST450, STN500/550M), ROMI Machine (M33, M43), Doosan (Puma700LM, DBC130L).
