Role overview
Support customers and the internal sales team as a CNC manufacturing specialist.
Design, own, and implement custom manufacturing solutions for customers.
Focus on CNC automation, robotics, technical support, and training.
Core responsibilities
- Program CNC machine tools and develop manufacturing processes.
- Conduct customer visits, opportunity evaluations, and machine assessments.
- Provide machine and part-processing recommendations.
- Prepare cost estimates, engineering reports, and plan interpretations.
- Program and set up CNC lathes and vertical or horizontal mills.
- Develop customer demonstrations and train users on CNC equipment and robots.
- Maintain technical knowledge of represented product lines.
Qualifications
- At least five years of hands-on machining, process development, and CNC programming experience.
- Mastercam or Esprit knowledge is preferred.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are required.
- Knowledge of tooling and ancillary machining equipment is required.
- Frequent regional travel and some overnight travel are required.
